Independent monthly carrier report highlights the top 25 volume carriers and their overall performance . . .

Welcome to the new and improved Reconex Monthly LTL Performance Report! From now on, we intend to highlight the top 25 volume carriers and their overall performance for the previous month, as well as the past 12 months.

Additionally, we’d like to call out the top 3 performing carriers each month and keep tabs on who the “Best of the Best” are for the calendar year.

November 2022 saw the best LTL performance since the depths of the pandemic, rising to an overall 85.68% “Issue Free!” While this sounds great, and trust me, we will take it after last year’s sub-70s, it’s still lower than the typical 90% and higher than we had all become accustomed to before the pandemic days.

Declining volumes may also be playing a role.

Reconex first spotted the potential for declining shipment volumes back in March of 2022, and it certainly could be helping nudge carrier performance upwards.

Time will tell if we can sustain better numbers in 2023.

Leading the pack for November (GREAT JOB!!!):

1) R&L Carriers
2) A. Duie Pyle
3) Dohrn Transfer

Top Candidates for Reconex Carrier of the Year Performers:

1) Southeastern Freight Lines
2) RMX
3) R&L Carriers
